To include well the functioning of ESB ServiceMix, it is necessary to plunge first of all into the specification of Popular dance Business Integration (JBI).
Popular dance Business Integration is a norm issued in JSR-208: based on a compromising orientated approach, JBI defines the way to sort for mailing messages between components. She defines components and their role, the messages which circulate in the bus, the channels of communication between components as well as patterns of exchange.
ServiceMix is a realisation of norm JBI.
