Microsoft gets closer to Eclipse foundation

On the occasion of EclipseCon 08, Sam Ramji, leader of the community Open Source to Microsoft, announced the beginning of a collaboration between Eclipse foundation and Microsoft.
The main purpose of this rapprochement concerns a better integration of the graphic toolkit of Eclipse SWT with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).

Debate: Does Scrum transfer XP?

Our colleague Vikas Hazrati summed up on InfoQ: Folk Do Extreme Programming Care end Scrum? a debate very "enlivened   initiated by regarding Scrum seen by the practitioners of XP (extreme Programming). This last thinks that Scrum and XP allies are, but it is not the opinion of everybody.

As Guillaume Bodet explained him in Scrum or XP? Scrum and XP! we think that Scrum and XP are supplementary, Scrum positions at the level of the management / organisation of plan while XP concerns the activities of development.
But since said Bruce Robinson, XP is not the only method of development and she is not the most adapting willy-nilly at any rate, it is possible to prefer for example the magazine of code at par Programming.
